In case you haven’t heard, tonight Rufus did a concert of all of the songs (in the same order) from the legendary Judy Garland Carnegie Hall concert album.
I’m not a huge fan of Judy’s, and I’ve only just gotten into Rufus the last few months, but I thought it was amazing. I thought his voice might be too nasally for this sort of music, but it was brillant, gorgeous.
…and guest appearances by Martha Wainwright, Kate McGarrigle and Lorna Luft!
It was just about the gayest thing I’ve ever seen in my life!
