Rumsfeld to Resign

About the only way this day could get better would be if Jennifer Aniston would give me a lap dance.

Ivory tower academic type, eh?

I wrote on my blog that it’s mid-afternoon in America, and we’re now on the couch, waking up from the 12-year burrito-induced nightmare of this Congress.

Yes. And we are going to amend the Constitution to end that sort of horrible and morally deficient actions! Keep your gay homosexual thoughts to yourself, you dirty pervert!

I hope there is some sort of scanfdal involving Gates just because I want there to be a Gatesgate.

Quick somebody slip a live boy or a dead women into his bedroom!

Today is like Democrat Xmas!

Bush has never sounded shakier than he does right this second. I feel like dancing with glee.

This made me so happy to hear so I went down the hall to tell the only Democrat I know of in this office. She wasn’t here and I had to tell someone so I risked it and told the receptionist. She seemed happy but she’s not likely to disagree with me.

I have a distinct problem with the OP.

It should’ve been titled “Rumsfeld Cuts and Runs”

i just watched Bush’s speech on CNN. Man, he looks pissed! Look at how he turns the pages when he’s giving his speech. You can tell he doesn’t like what he has to say or do.

I love it.

He should really be forced to put on a uniform and join the troops over there until they’re called back home. Then we’d really see if he thought we need to stay there.
As it is he gets to retire and go back to his comfy mega-ranch with no consequences for his FUBAR of Iraq.
Must be nice.

Nah, make it a goat. Then it would be Gategoatgate.

It would really make my day if a major magazine/newspaper put that in big letters on the front of their publication.

Rumsfeld should be forced to spend the next 6 years rebuilding Iraq.

I’m thinking the sewer system.

We need to stay the course. Heckuva job, Rummy!

Ironic Quote Of The Day:
(cite: MSNBC)

**Joseph Lieberman: ** “Thanks, Don, you’ve served the country but really we need somebody new there.” :smack:

Wouldn’t it have been much smarter to do this last week, from an electoral point of view?

He may not have been indicted, but he’s dirty with the stink of Iran/Contra.

Since when has anyone in this administration been guilty of doing anything smart?

No, I want it the door (hopefully a very heavy one) to give him a bit of a push. We don’t want him lingering about.
