Remember the ex Playboy bunny who escaped prison? She was spotted all over the country for a couple years. She eventually was caught, served time and probation.
She’s been free over ten years.
Well, she died at age 52. Liver failure.
She had one hell of a run at life.

There were Free Bambi T Shirts, a song, all sorts of comedy skits on Letterman, and Carson.
They even made a movie about it.
I remember reading about her and thinking the whole case was a tragedy. John Douglas, the FBI profiler, wrote about her in one of his books and thought she was innocent of the original crime (set up be her husband?)
I remember the story…I don’t remember it being that kind of a…fad.
