Why doesn’t the map work? I pay good money for this stupid game (yes, I pay for the extra content) and you can’t get the goddamned map to work properly? I need to know where I am and where I’m headed. Granted, I have an awful sense of direction. I get turned around quite easily. Which is why I need a map that doesn’t crash the gaddangit game every furshugenner time I paprikanstangit look at it.
I tried to work around it. I’ve opened up an off-site map so that your delicate sensibilities aren’t offended by my inadequate directional capabilities. But you get so, so jealous that my attentions have wandered that you disconnect me from the server after 3 minutes.
If you don’t want me looking at other, sweeter websites Runey-- fix your franfiginfucking map!!!
How often does opening the map crash the game? What browser are you using?
I use the Runescape browser and have not had any problems. Have you checked the messageboards to see if anyone else is having this problem?
I feel your pain. Sometimes RS tries to do too much and get too cute and it affects basic game-play.
I’m sorry. It doesn’t crash the browser, it crashes the game. I’d say it is a fifty-fifty chance that when I close the map I’ll get a black screen instead of the game. Oh and I’m using Firefox.
I’m Nubeedo. I don’t talk much to people as I find most people chatting in Runescape are 12 years old and act it. Plus I’m not that good of a game player and I gotta focus my attention at the task at hand or I’ll lose my place.
For kicks I started the new starting area and I can’t find a damned empty pot to finish the stupid easy, early quest. In Lumbridge I know where to get one but not over at the new place. I am a terrible player.
I’ve had to quit playing becasue the fps on my old machine have gotten so low it gives me a headache. All the new graphic updates I guess. They look good but RS is dead to me until I get a new computer or they fix the fps problem.
