Any relation to Nostradamus?
This morning I was listening to NPR on the way to work. They had a sort of point-counterpoint on why Rumsfeld should or shouldn’t be fired.
The counterpoint, some shill from The Washington Post, had his logic thusly:
The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were fought using a Clinton-shrunk military
The problems with prisoner abuse were caused by a lack of manpower
Therefore, the prison abuse is the fault of the Clinton Administration
He then went on to point out that Rumsfeld is a true visionary, and removing him from his position would be a horrible blow to Our Boys and Girls in Khaki. He also threw in something about 9/11 and how everything is different now, and blah blah we’ve all seen it from the various blind pinheads on this very board.
I personally thought it was funny because, when Rumsfeld fucks up, Our Boys and Girls in Khaki are the first people to know it.
