Rush Limbaugh lies. What a shocker!!!!!!!

As opposed to those of us who have nothing better to do than post stuff on the SDMB, knowwhutImean?

Which, for most of us anyway, is an active intellectual exercise, and a real effort to fight ignorance, even in onself. For those for whom it is not, no help can be given.

Hey! I resemble that remark!

Both of them!

Conservative here.
Jeez, when Clinton was president, I didn’t agree with his policies or like all the things he did, but I didn’t HATE the man. I still don’t hate him. Hell, he’d probably be a great guy to hang out with in a bar. On the other hand, I see people above saying they hate GW. I guess it’s OK to hate conservatives, but not liberals.

Do you exclude listening to Rush Limbaugh as an active intellectual exercise?

Nuke, you are fortunate indeed, if you were spared the idiocy of the right-wing pundits (paid and unpaid) when Clinton was president. I can vividly recall seeing multiple cars carrying the “He’s not MY president!” message (a reference to the election in which the vote was split between Clinton, Perot and Bush, with Clinton getting more than the other two). Whenever I saw those bumper stickers, I always thought to myself “Then this isn’t YOUR country!”

Sigh … Scylla, I don’t feel like playing, and if I did, it wouldn’t be with you. Feel free to save yourself a little time too, and go right to the Pit thread excoriating my character.

My apologies. I didn’t realize you were just playing with yourself. Next time keep the door closed.

Well, at least that way you actually get to strangle the prick.

Quite possibly the best one-liner ever seen on these boards.

And I helped set it up for you. There is no justice.

“I love compliments, we all do…burglars, humorists, Congressmen…all of us in the trade. Why, I could live for a week on a single compliment! But I was near struck speechless by this complimentary thunderbolt! Never have I heard a compliment so beautifully phrased, or so richly deserved!”
