I like that idea. It’s less destructive than the Roadside bombs US forces faced.
They are easy enough to drag with a tractor. Which is obviously what happened with the one in the photo.
I hope these attacks on civilians are documented as war crimes.

This could get interesting:
Totally understandable, and Ukraine has the resources to pull this off if they’re serious about it. I’ve said before, had Ukraine kept even a few nukes back in the 90s, this war would never have happened.
Who’s to say they didn’t.
All the Ukrainians killed in an invasion that could have been stopped if Ukraine had demonstrated a nuclear capability?

How to Reply as a linked Topic
Click Reply, in the upper left corner of the reply window is the reply type button, looks like a curving arrow point to the right.
Choose Reply as linked topic and it starts a new thread. As an example, you can choose GD, IMHO or The Pit for it.
That is actually the best method.

I’m sorry, but
They have pronouns now?
Anyway - some surprise swapsies happened yesterday:
At least they’re getting time to acclimate.
South Korea’s spy agency said on Friday that North Korea has sent 1,500 special forces troops to Russia’s Far East for training and acclimatisation
Given the size of the North Korean contingent, they are unlikely to have a decisive impact on the trajectory of the war in Ukraine. Russia is currently suffering around 1200 casualties a day in Ukraine. The North Koreans represent about a week’s human expenditure by Russia.
Regardless, this deployment will help North Korea undergo a rapid transformation and modernisation of its military forces. This will be a destabilising influence for the Korean peninsula and the Pacific region.
The US response is they’re fair game.
The Russian military is a well oiled machine. Nope.
Snipers should target the Russian guy talking to the N Koreans. (the interpreter)
Watch the confusion.
SNAFU
Why three senior officers? One would think field grade (captain-equivalent and below) would suffice.
I suspect someone’s army has had too much “grade inflation”, giving them a surplus of senior officers. Which brings up the question of whose officers are they? Russian or NK?
They have to keep them from defecting.
BUSINESS INSIDER October 24 2024
Bermudez said Kim was likely to send only “politically reliable people” to fight.
Those sent to aid Russia would probably be accompanied by officials from the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea, he said, adding: “They file reports on everybody.”
And if any of their charges goes missing, they’d be for the high jump too.
A fairly candid relpy from Lukashenko. It will soon be apparent if NK troops join the conflict.
