Russian politician Aleksei Zhuravlyov is threatening to kidnap, try, and execute Democratic Congressman Ruben Gallego because of Gallego’s calls for action against any Russian incursion into Ukraine. If that doesn’t work, Zhuravlyov wants somebody to assassinate Gallego here in the US.

About the same time that we recognize that we are at war with them.
Except we’re not fighting back.
I though Russians were currently into obscure radioactive isotopes and nerve agents for assassinations, not so much axes or other flamboyant and messy techniques.
We don’t want to fight, after 30-odd years of war in Western Asia.
We have always been at war with EastAsia.
Maybe they’re revisiting the Trotsky days?
We are. This is a cold war. But the spin we are choosing to put on it is “democracy” vs. “authoritarianism,” so we can’t respond back the same way.
Russia is testing the US’s resolve right now, after Trump would just give in on everything.
