anyone know why safari clothes are always tan or khaki? camouflage? heat? oh, and if you do know, please post why instead of just telling me you know. s’anks.
No cites, but the colors tan and khaki are more reflective of the sun’s heat than darker colors, but don’t show the dirt and grime as much as white would. Tan and khaki would also, as you mentioned, be less visible to the wild life. Although in most cases i’m sure the wildlife knows exactly where we are.
