(Inspired by a stray thought watching Teen Titans a while back.)
By whatever plot contrivance* necessary to make this work, suppose the Saiyajins (and their employer, the multi-formed Freeza) decided to take over another comic universe’s Earth.
How would the defenders fare in detecting and repelling (or not) the new alien overlords?
*Wormhole, time travel, wrong turn at Alberquerque
Well, standard, everyday SAiyans are really strong but not invulnerable, so while they could do a lot of physical damage, it’s not terribly dangerous to most comic book worlds (the upper-end Saiyans are defeinitely competitive with theupper-end anyone else). However…
They have no special abilities or defenses. Professor X or J’on J’onzz (sp?) alone would stop the entire army. As for Freiza, there’s no hint that he could stand up to the same. Frankly, none of the Dragon Ball Z villains were all that bright, with the sometimes exceptions of Vegeta, who did come up with a few good plans. Then again, these mostly relied on the stupidity of his opponents.
They’s do real well against the heros/villains with physical powers - then get mashed when someone uses something like telepathy or magic.
