Salty Dog without the salt

Does anyone know what a Salty Dog (Vodka and Grapefruit in a salt-rimmed glass) is called when you don’t salt the rim? I’ve heard a different name for it in the past.

The only thing I could find from searching a few drink websites is a “Blue Dog” from drinksmixer.com. (It’s not a well laid-out website, you will have to scroll down). That term doesn’t sound familiar. I’m wondering if they choose to call it a blue dog because they specify Skyy vodka.

I thought it might simply be a Sea Dog, but I can’t find anything by that search.
