No link yet, just saw it on CBS, but the San Diego tournament site has been evacuated after a suspicious package was found in the arena.
Here’s the only link I’ve been able to find so far:

Apparently a suspicious canister was found just before 1 p.m. ET.

This is a local TV station’s website. Still not much more in the way of details.
Check this out:
Marquette was set to tip off against Alabama at 11:40 a.m. today, but a bomb-sniffing dog “went hot” near a hot-dog cart and University Police temporarily shut down the stadium.
Now authorities are investigating why the dog “went hot”. I’m kind of guessing maybe he was hungry.

Are you sure it wasn’t just an especially pungent SBD?

That’s what I thought, too. It may be a highly trained, professional dog, but it’s not made of stone. How different does “Hey, I think that might be a bomb!!” look from “Oh, my God, they have hundreds and hundreds of hot dogs!!” in the range of doggy expressions?
I heard a report on ABC radio news just after the all clear was given that the offending package was a box of ketchup. I haven’t seen any other confirmation of that. Anyone else hear/see/read this?
Well, considering Marquette is down by two with 12 or so minutes left to play in the second half, I’d say everything’s ok.
Opps! Now I know where I left the ketchup :smack:
My Bad.
