You do understand what an analogy is right? Its a “a comparison between one thing and another, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.”

For example you posted an analogy. You compared not serving the SHS with training a dog.

Except that was an “analogy fail.” Because people and dogs are fundamentally different and that’s what I pointed out.

You claimed that “waiting a week or even waiting a few hours” was too long to “impose a consequence” because “otherwise the animal won’t make the connection”. But that’s nonsense. Because firstly humans are not dogs. But secondly that simply isn’t how our society works. We impose delayed consequences on people all the time. Sometimes that delay is a few hours, sometimes it is a few weeks, and sometimes its a few years, or even longer. If you commit a parking infringement yesterday we don’t not give you a fine because it happened a day ago. And if you commit a murder yesterday you don’t get to walk away from it because it happened 24 hours ago.

I didn’t equate Sanders with a murderer. I own my words. Its over to you to make an effort to understand them.

Doing her job as press secretary does not mean she is an asshole, and even assholes have a right to be served at any rate. I hate her politics, and I hate her boss even more, but she still has a right to be treated as a human being. To do less than that is deplorable. If she freaks out or poses a danger to herself and others, then by all means eject her. But not before that threshold has been reached.

Can you point out where that right is enumerated, either in the Constitution or Virginia law? Absent that, can you explain how her meal trumps the right of the establishment to refuse service to anyone?
