Sarah Palin and Alaska Separatists.

My mistake.

Tuckerfan: It’s really sickening to listen to the local yabos piss and moan about the government while drawing a paycheck from them and retiring on the taxpayer’s dime. Government contracts are a huge industry here. In addition, they certainly don’t turn down the oil royalty check that’s handed to them every year by the state. It’s too bad in a way that the Obama campaign didn’t make a bigger deal about the Palin affiliation with a group that is probably under FBI surveillance.

It is when you’re accusing a liberal or a Democrat of hating America.

Interesting that, with the background of supporting a secessionist organization, she has the gall to suggest that “real” America is small town rural… implying that large urban centers and people who vote for Democrats are not “real” Americans. But these secessionists, they’re “real” Americans.

[soapbox]Regardless of the Obama/McCain choice, I think this woman is a danger and a serious threat.[/soapbox]

I hear ya, brother. I know plenty of people who claim “the government never did anything” for them, yet they’re happy to drive on the roads paved by government money, work jobs that rely on government funding for at least part of their salary, and on and on.
