Sarah turns opaque.

I know what you mean. I’ll probably try and keep an eye on Mudflats just to see what the bitch is up to. Chefguy, keep us informed on her doings (and popularity numbers) in Alaska, k? In fact, IS she still as popular as she was, or is any of this getting through to people?
This might have been posted and I missed it. Apparently the rogue is/was involved with not one, but TWO witch hunters!

Palin’s other witch hunter : Mary Glazier

Hallelujah indeed!

Her numbers dipped some, probably due to all the bullshit she’s been slingin’ while out there campaignin’ n’ such. She still has solid approval ratings here though, and the ticket will take the state without any problem. I’m pretty sure that she will be re-elected governor, if she runs.

A couple nights ago, the Daily Show visited Palin’s former mayoral office. It’s a tiny building. Looks like it used to be a gas station. Inside, the current mayor said that the office qualifies one to be vice-president and that she, too, is now qualified. When asked what the mayor of her town does, she struggled to provide two things: (1) she holds staff meetings on Monday, and (2) she signs checks on Thursday. The place is like Mayberry, only cold and methed up.

She is probably on her way out in the upcoming election, as her complete lack of motivation and understanding of the job have gotten her some very unfavorable press.

You mean there IS other stuff to do?

Well yeah. She has to hold the line against providing an social services whatsoever.

That was a pretty quick flip-flop there. Did you read something in the space of a few hours that made you change your mind?

I believe the second quote was about the current mayor of Wasilla.

Oh, duh. Sorry.

Holy fuck! Politico now has moved Alaska out of the “Solid McCain” column into the “Leaning McCain” column.

That’s gotta hurt. :stuck_out_tongue:

more tha Arizona?

I am speechless. I am without speech.

Arizona still shows up as deep red, but I’ve been reading a lot of articles that say that Arizona will be a lot more purple than anyone could have expected. I’ll try to find some links but I read so many different sites, and when I click off something I later forget where I read it. Wouldn’t it be fun if Obama made a couple of quick stops in Phoenix and Anchorage? He doesn’t need those states, but it’d still be fun.
On different subjects, these are open in my browser now so I’ll post the links before I forget about them.

Palin’s wearing jeans to rallys now.

Also…

Thanks to her big mouth, a store Palin shops at has been hit with a Cease and Desist order for using the name “Out of the Closet.”

Speaking as a former figure skating mom, I say she’s dressed inappropriately at this point. I want my VP in a suit when conducting business and campaigning is business. I know AK is informal and all, but truly, does she wear jeans to the office there?
I am convinced that Palin is the GOP’s Yoko Ono at this point. She’ll shatter the party to pieces and people will revile her name for years. As a liberal, this makes me happy.

The newest development with her worship’s state woes has somebody filing another ethics complaint with the personnel board, this time over Palin’s brats having their plane tickets paid for.

What’s happened to your speech?

My guess is that he installed a new Vista service pack, and it interferes with the way his JAWS drivers make use of the Eloquence utility.

He should really try to get that addressed in GQ.

ETA: Before anybody asks, the above was just some geeky humor related to adaptive software for the blind.

It’s understandable. Microsoft is going to release its Articulation Service Pack 3.0.4 soon, and all will be right as reign.

Surprise, SHOCKING news!

Palin didn’t violate ethics law, 2nd probe finds

NO WAY!! I totally didn’t see that coming! I’m shocked, shocked I tell you.
