saving flickr sets

ok so i figured out how to save individual pictures as favorites on flickr, and how to add someone as a contact, and even how to join a group, but! i can’t figure out for the life of me how to save/bookmark a flickr set. anyone know how, if it’s possible, or if it’s not, if flickr is going to address this gross inadequacy?

What do you mean by “saving” a Flickr set? Do you just want to organize your photos into sets? If so, go to the Organizer, load all your photos, and click the gray “Create a new set” button on the right side of the screen. Drag your photos from the left side into the little tray on the right and then click Save. Tada. If you meant another type of “saving” (such as downloading all pictures from a set to your computer), please explain.

To bookmark a set after you create it, just go to the “Your photos” section (flickr.com/photos/YOUR_USERNAME). The sets show up on the left; click on one and bookmark the resulting page.

If you click on the name of the set, you should get a page with that Set, which you can bookmark with your web browser. As an example, here’s a link to a set:

Were you looking for something within flickr itself?

Ooh, now that you mention it, I think he was asking about the “Add to faves” function on Flickr itself.

So just ignore my completely useless reply

Yes, I want to add a set to my favorites from within flickr itself. So that I can log onto flickr and go to a “my favorite sets” page, similar to how one can now go to a page with one’s favorite individual pictures, or one’s joined groups. Thanks!
