You know, if we really do organize a ScanDope, the flodkids are going to be campaigning hard for Göteborg, as I still, cruel mother that I am, have not taken them to Liseberg. I’m just sayin’.
I wouldn’t mind Trondheim, either. Lived there from '90 to '98, and then moved here to B(l)ærum. I haven’t had an excuse to go back since and I miss the place
There are a lot more of us Scandopers (hmmmm, Scandopers? Scandidopers? I can’t decide!) than I realised as well, although I admit that I am not the most frequent of posters.
Spiny Norman the teasing is of the good natured sort! Thankfully I am lucky enough to be able to get away with using English in the office but I am trying to improve my Danish. It just has the side effect of occasionally reducing my colleagues to fits of giggles when I try out a new phrase I think I’ve learnt well. This effect can also be accompanied by the calling in of colleagues from nearby offices…“you have to listen to this” style!
Hands Priceguy a pair of binoculars…there…see it?..just under that damn great cloud there!
Ooooooh! Scandanavians are the coolest people on earth! I have wonderful memories of Fyn – especially Nyborg and Odense. I was once kidnapped by a Viking that I met in Copenhagen and spirited away to that island.
genie, where did you live on Fyn?
Sorry for the hijack, but I have a crush on all of you!
blinx, I had to ask a quick bit of advice even for that short bit, I was going to put ‘hvem’ but on checking was informed that ‘som’ was more appropriate here…learn something new everyday!
I’m enjoying it a lot, but ‘fluent’ maybe pushing it just a little bit!
flodnak, Malmö doesn’t have Liseberg that is true, but it is only a half an hour from Denmark which has not only the Copenhagen Tivoli but also Legoland  Stockholm probably makes more sense if its a nordic dope tho.
