Scary Movie 3 - blooper or intentional?

Okay, I know I’m a little late with this, but it’s been bugging me ever since I watched Scary Movie 3. I thought the movie was hilarious, probably because I had seen all of the movies it was spoofing. I think I was the oldest person in the theater when I watched it - I was surrounded by teenagers, and it was interesting to see the difference between what I laughed at and what they all laughed at. They laughed at all the obvious gags, while I found myself howling at really subtle things. I guess teenagers can’t detect subtlety yet. I wonder how many people caught the joke when Leslie Neilson stuck his head into the basement and told Charlie Sheen and Anna Faris, “I just want to let you know that we’re all counting on you.” ')

There is a scene where Anna Faris’ character is alone in her apartment, and then Charlie Sheen’s character showed up. If I remember correctly, Faris was wearing a very snug, light pink T-shirt. In all the shots before Sheen showed up, it was quite clear that Faris was wearing no bra under her shirt. Her nipples were obviously erect, and there were no lines to indicate the presence of a bra. But when she opened the door to let Sheen in, her nipples were no longer visible, and I could clearly see bra lines.

I’m assuming it was intentional, especially since Faris’ breasts seeemed to change size over the course of the movie - I figured it was part of the running gag. How many other people noticed this particular detail, and do you think it was intentional or inadvertent?

I burst out laughing at this, I had to explain to my wife why.

Didn’t really notice any breast manipulation in the movie. It sounds unintentional but I’d have to see it and pay attention to give a real guess.

I thought the only funny part throughout the whole movie was the Airplane! reference. The rest of the movie sucked. Anyway, IMDB’s listing of the film doesn’t have it as a goof.

I kind of liked this movie (and I liek to tease my younger bro about his having bad taste). Can you explain the reference.

The 1980 movie Airplane!, had a story like this:

“An airplane crew takes ill. Surely the only person capable of landing the plane is an ex-pilot afraid to fly”

The ex-pilot, played by Robert Hays, is being assisted in the cockpit by Julie Hagerty. It’s an extremely stressful situation for Hays and Hagerty. Leslie Neilson plays a doctor who is a passenger on the plane - he adds greatly to the stress by repeatedly sticking his head into the cockpit to tell Hays and Hagerty, “I just want to let you know that we’re all counting on you.”

I highly recommend Airplane! It was another spoof movie - making fun of a spate of airport disaster movies that were popular at the time.

Also helps when you realize they were both directed and written by David Zucker and Pat Proft, respectively.

Except Pat Proft didn’t write for Airplane! of course

He worked with the Zuckers on almost everything else since then though.
