“I thought we were friends.”

Kind of depends on your definition of ‘scene’. It appears the OP is more interested in short, one-line or a few seconds scene, and two of my don’t miss are:

“I. Have Had. Enough. Of YOU!!!” and the couple of minutes leading to it. (Star Trek: The Search for Spock

“Please be advised. Rich Purnell is a steely-eyed missile man.” Loved it in both the book and the Movie The Martian

As for longer, ‘single take’ scenes, I still think the courthouse meeting scene in “Absense of Malice” is so perfectly acted, scripted, blocked and filmed that it still rivets me to my chair.

And of course the opening minute or two of Star Wars…THE Star Wars, no bloody 2, 3, 4, or 5.

This scene always makes me cry:

  • the injustice of the times
  • the silent respect
  • Atticus doesn’t even know it’s happening

To Kill a Mockingbird - Your Father’s Passing (youtube.com)

Oh yes, that’s one I neglected to mention. Best line in the film.

The fight scene from Anchorman:

“That’s some bad hat, Harry”…and yeah, that thing about needing a bigger boat.

The firing-every-bullet-we-can-lay-our-hands-on scene in Predator. Trees splintering, leaves flying, rocks sparking and locking on Old Painless’ trigger even after the ammo runs out. The minigun’s motor just whirring away is just the right touch to end the scene.

Enough is enough. I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane.

(Well, you didn’t say it had to be from a good movie.)

Ghostbusters: Bill Murray says "Yes it’s true…

Totally deadpan.

  1. The emergency airlock scene in 2001
  2. The border scene in Sicario
  3. “Madness!” at the end of Bridge on the River Kwai
