So scent can escape. Simi has gotten really good. There can be a dozen oil drain pans scattered in the yard. One pan has a q-tip with a drop of scent. He will search the pans and signal when he finds the one with the q-tip.
Just buy a box of 1,000 q-tips from Amazon. No need to have a dog find them for you.

My understanding is that the Vice Presidential debate coming up this week, which CBS is also hosting, will be free of fact-checking on the part of the moderators. Candidates are expected to provide their own fact-checking.
Which means Vance is just going to be lying his ass off in rebuttal to everything Walz says, with no consequences.
CBS News has been pissing me off for a while now, ever since Leslie Stahl, who lobbed softball after softball to Trump in multiple interviews while he was president, suddenly decided to be a tough ass hard-as-nails journalist when she interviewed a visibly shaken Nancy Pelosi on January 8 2021.

Betting on this is foolish because this is 100% going to happen.
Indeed, Vance will get curbstomped with fact-checking the following day. A lot of ignoroids who watched the debate may miss out on such a follow-up, but a debate moderator’s fact-checking would’ve gone in and out of said troglodytes’ ears most likely anyway.
It sure didn’t go out of trump’s ears. He’s still in a lather over it, which makes it worthwhile in my book.
