Peter Gabriel’s Shock The Monkey was released with German lyrics and was called (obviously) Schock den Affen.
Where can I find the German version of Gabriel’s Security album (on CD), which I assume has Schock den Affen on it?

We have a copy of Schock den Affen on an LP (you can probably guess our ages +/- 3 years by that fact alone) called Das Deutsches Album-- looks like a German language version of Security – maybe check for this alternate title?
Found it on amazon. Thanks!
The CD just arrived. It’s playing now.
There were, incidentally, two "Deutsches Album"s: both PG’s third self-titled album and the fourth (Security) came out in German language editions. There was also a German remake of “Jetzt Kommt die Flut” (“Here Comes the Flood”) released on a single.
Now that you found it, I only have a bit of silliness to add.
A friend of mine from Germany recounts the time he was at a fast food sort of place and a well-meaning tourist comes up to the adjacent register and mangles the order. “Hamburger mit pickeln und affensaft, bitte!”
Yum-yum! Hamburger with acne and monkey juice, please! What they meant to order was “hamburger mit essiggurken und apfelsaft” to have that burger with pickles and apple juice. (Blech!)
