So far so good! I just got my first set of grades back.
(You may have read a couple other threads of mine, but I just recently started back to school on June 2nd. I haven’t been IN college since 1998)
ANYWAY: So far I have a 103% in my art appreciation class. My prof told me that I was really on the right track with the way I’d been writing about the pieces of art we had to compare and contrast. So he gave me a 42 out of 40 possible points, and 100% on class participation! WOO-WOO!
AND, in Sociology, I have a 97%. I got a 10 out of 10 on one paper, a 9 out of 10 on the other paper, and a 100% on class participation! I’m so excited!
Hope I can keep this up for the rest of the semester!!!

Honestly, I thought maybe he was grading on a curve, and I was above most of the other people (which is new for me). BUT, it WAS on writing assignments critiquing works of art and stuff. So maybe I just wrote more in depth than some people, and he felt like rewarding me. haha
By the way, I’m sorry if I sound like a nimrod who is sharing stuff that doesn’t mean anything to everybody else. My husband just doesn’t get whole heartedly excited about stuff like this, so I feel like I have to get all my yelling, and woo-hooing done before I get home. haha
(And don’t attack my husband, he’s just really laid back, and tends not to get real excited about much. He’s happy for me, and proud of me, he’s just not going to understand why I’m jumping up and down with a huge grin on my face. haha)
