I don’t even have time to rejoice at this waste of carbon being fired, because the he’s been replaced with someone possibly worse.
ISIAH THOMAS!!
ISIAH THOMAS IS THE NEW GM OF THE NY KNICKS?!?!?!?!
OH DEAR GOD NO!
The CBA was around for 55 years until this idiot killed it in a year. Take a look at Indy this year, they are totally whipping ass without 'ol Zeke at the helm. The first thing Bird did when he got to Indy was fire him, maybe we should take that as a hint. Thanks a lot Mr. Dolan for another dumb personnel move in a long line of them.
It’s an awful move. Zeke is well known for being one of those poison pill type of guys. The word is he is lazy as hell, has no work ethic, and isn’t good at commanding the respect of others. Most importantly he has no fucking eye for talent, a skill that’s sort of required to be a good GM.
It is a typical Knick move though. Last I heard Cablevision is still cutting a profit, so why should Dolan care anway?
I’m sorry, but I’m gonna spend at least one day celebrating the firing of Layden, before moaning about Zeke. I think I deserve that much after watching the Knicks these last few years.

He sounds like a perfect presidential candidate, however.
Chalk this one up to the “The-little-ping-pong-ball-that-knew-it-could-but-there-is-a-string-attached” Syndrome.

Also, See: “Reverse Curse of the BoSox”.
I love watching the East Coast diehards foaming at the mouths every time their beloved sports team shoots themselves in the foot.
I’m no fan of the Knicks, but that is one of the crappiest decisions ever. It’s a great franchise and it deserves better than its gotten the past decade or so. Or at least since they decided to make Charlie Ward their point guard and Allen Houston their franchise player.
