I got into chat a few times, but I felt somewhat intimidated, in spite of several really sweet people who went out of their way to be helpful to me.
Then, my IRL life got kind of complicated, and I haven’t had the time to go in recently.
But, with help from Candian Sue, weirdave and Silver Fire, I finally managed to download mIRC and I am now equipped to “get into” chat without frustration.

Yes but sweetie my darling MysterE Honey the thing is, when you MASSAGE, you need to really get into the deep manipulation of knotted and stressed joints. Sorry, baby, but this is a skill that any man ought to learn. As a gender, we women tend to equate this with sensitivity and tenderness. Mostly because for many years, WE have been massaging OUR men, and they have been swiping inefectually at our shoulders for about five minutes, and then demanding repricocity.
I have to say, I am willing to do my part. I am MORE than willing to do my part. But, I am NOT willing any more to spend all of my time massaging a man I love, when he is not willing to do the same for me.
Call me a bitch, if you think it is appropriate.
As far as gentle is concerned, it definately has it’s place. No question there.
However, gentle belongs in one forum, and deep muscle massage belongs in another.
Sigh. I have been adjudged inadequate. Alright, I conceed the massage concession to Daniel and his strong hands.

But Scotti is a grace-note on the boards. The assembled Dopers are a constant challenge/blessing, but Scotti’s voice is unique. The lines of type express someone who’s funny, kind, tough, honest, offbeat…all in all a fine friend I never would have met otherwise.

I like to start medium, work my way into deep tissue, and then finish with a “light touch” massage that leaves you all tingly and relaxed. For a great massage, oil and laying down is reqd, but I can do a good "neck & shoulder’, with a little accupressure on the face, and some light touch on the scalp, when you are just sitting down. Real good for those of us who sit & work on a computer all day, or drive a lot.

Scotti, congrats. I hope you realize how much people care for you on this board and elsewhere. I read all the other posts from your other friends and I see that you’re very loved and respected. What goes around comes around, I guess. :^)
