Hey bizzwire, a sincere thank you for the story. I like the background where Doohan had the reputation for being a bit of a letch. Years back at a local Con he completed an ass-grab on a friend of mine. (She was a Con organizer and escorting guests.) Not being the type to put up with crap, she exclaimed something and hit him on the arm and that was that. (I guess it’s not much of a story. Your tale of dinner is a lot better.
