Why do we scratch our heads when we think hard about something… At the moment I am avoiding the scratching. and I am trying my best to igore the itch, the more I think the more it itches…
Is it simply a mind reflex ?
Please educate my pile of slush
Thanks,
Russell
Dude, we don’t scratch our heads when we are thinking hard… that’s just a cartoon convention. When I’m thinking hard, I bite my nails…
As a side issue: I’m looking at all of the threads you have started that have been locked… if you want to continue to contribute your input to the SDMB (as I hope you do), you need to 1) post in the appropriate forum, and 2) post actual questions…
Failure to do so often results in moved threads (which pisses off the Mods) or outright banning…
Speaking as a moderator here: Astroboy14 is being a bit hasty there. You should, as he states, make sure to post threads in the appropriate fora, and (for instance) ask specific factual questions in General Questions. That said, though, I don’t see any problem with this particular post, and I don’t anticipate it being locked or moved, so don’t worry overmuch about it.
personally I absolutely love having my head scratched. It dosent matter if I am thinking (I’ve caught myself doing it once or twice), if I’m the one doing the scratching, or if someone else is, I become as content as a cat when having my head scratched. If I could purr I am sure I would…
…scratch my head and you can get me to do anything…
Sorry, IMATION… I was a bit snippy last night when I wrote that, because (insert lame excuse here).
Normally, I’m MUCH nicer than that!
Its all good…
It is quite difficult to get a point across ** CLEARLY ** over the internet…
The babbling will stop… promise…
And you should never see this kind of shit again.

Sorry for any inconveniance…
Sincerely,
IMATION
