Question for those who still doubt my claim: do you really think colour is that important? I admit to total ignorance of the source material for this game. Is it that weird to imagine (in this world) that it’s possible for robots to get drunk?
I would like to point out briefly that a lot of folks were suspicious of me for ‘trying to save’ peeker. Does his flipping town make you rethink some of this, perhaps?
I’d like to not be the distraction that I was yesterday. I’m going to do a full re-read (I know I promised this before, but I’ve not been able to do it yet) and see if I can find anything that’s been overlooked in the messiness. I get the feeling that a lot of the mess yesterday was town-on-town.
Yeah, I hadn’t considered a counterclaim. (Unless Freudian or Oredigger is the real Megacorp Regional Manual… grrr…)
Indeed. I don’t think my alternate theory is worth acting on at the moment; I fully expect you to be confirmed-by-night-kill over the next couple nights. I was mainly bringing the theory up for Town players to consider if they end up in a four or five-person endgame situation with you still alive.
I thought Daphne already said she found out nothing. Which is sort of in line with my theory that VTs are the most likely to go AWOL early on in a thread. She found out nothing with me too–no doubt she only learns something if the person blocked had an ability TO block.
Elect Tom Scud because he has been mindful of players’ preferences as to time and day of week of Day end. No offense, Boozy, but I don’t want to have to stay up until 11:30 to find out what happens again.
Does anyone who saw the movie know the answer to this? Of course, this game might not completely follow the flavor of the movie, but it’s at least a start.
I suppose that could be… “You gave <player> drink after drink, but no matter how much he drank, he never seemed to get drunk”.
Possibility 2 (roleblocking as a balancing factor to investigation) is a scenario where she’s Town, so she has the Town win condition. Possibility 3 pretty much depends on there being a whole team of 3rd parties, and I don’t know what their win condition would be… Maybe something to do with berynium?
That does make this less plausible, but remember, peeker also speculated that maybe his being stuck in his room was a result of whom he was trying to visit.
As for the possibility that they’re both Scum, I can’t rule it out, but I think I want to go back and look over how those bandwagons rolled along.
OK, fine, since Freudian is MIA and basically out of the game I will spill.
I received no alignment information. But I did discover she has a power of some kind. The nature of this power was not disclosed.
I can’t figure out why she’s abandoned the game, but I didn’t want to disclose this yesterday because if she was scum and got some votes I would have expected some argument against lynching her. I don’t recall that really happening though. If it looked like she was in real danger to be lynched I would have spilled.
I trust Alka more than Tom…remember, Jimmy seemed very helpful too.
Note my mention that Daphne is the most confirmed Town I know, but I’m changing to the closest thing to confirmed Town who actually has a chance to be leader. It’s a strategic choice for 2nd best.
