Scrubs 2/10 and OCD

Sorry, my bad. I only mentioned it because my sister did, but like I said, she has a mild case, so it might just have been her OCD talking.

For some EXCELLENT insight to OCD, I recommend reading the first chapter to David Sedaris’ Naked. He was OCD as a child/adolescent, and has a fantastic short story about his suffering in that book.

I disagreed with all of your post, but just wanted to discuss this point. I believe they are setting up Scrubs to take Frasier’s timeslot (and audience), as Frasier is done after this season. Exposing Scrubs to the Frasier audience thus would make sense. Plus that horrible Trump reality show got killed by American Idol, so they had to move to Thursday to be protected by Friends supersize episode gimmicks and such. Of course, they can’t protect it from the fact that it stinks and Trump is grating. But NBC made a bunch of promises to Mark Burnett (producer of Survivor) to get the show, so now they are stuck having to protect that dreck. I guess they are under the impression that Will & Grace and ER, along with the horrible relatity show of the moment is enough for Thursday. They are wrong of course.

The conversation was joined in medias res, yes? I assume that if he didn’t know her already, she’d been introduced prior to the scene.

I love Ted. Yes, he works best in small doses, but he really shone in this episode, especially how happy he was after he fell off the building.

P.S. Hey, what happened with Jordan’s sister (Tara Reid)? Are she and J.D. still an item? Did I miss an episode?

Is it me or is Scrubs getting less funny and more dramatic? I enjoyed the mix before, but it seems it’s getting really formulaic (someone always comes to some deep conclusion in the last five minutes) and leaning toward lame comedy and heavy drama.

I think they’ve always done that.

Cliffy says:
“The conversation was joined in medias res, yes? I assume that if he didn’t know her already, she’d been introduced prior to the scene.”

But it is clear that Casey had no idea who this woman sitting across from him was. So concluding that no proper introduction was done follows from that.

Cox is a self-centered jerk. For him not to introduce Jordan is perfectly in character.
