If you guys would rather me not play at all, I would have taken it better if you had been blunt and frank.
Okay, I rather have that you play instead of worrying about your play style or decrying how you are misunderstood.
Try to understand that this is a game where an important part is that there are people trying to mislead, manipulate and lie to you. And the other part will be treating you as you could be trying to do that to them (unless confirmed).
I can see that for you not having a mason forum is a significant drawback, but really for it not that big a deal compared to the actual mason power (knowing for sure other player who are town).
Also realize that it isn’t a solo game (except for the PFK/Third Parties) - you aren’t personally responsible for a mislynch or losing the game. Especially if you didn’t vote for him. You don’t have to win on you own - town and scum both will make mistakes, that’s just part of life.
Last but not least: it’s a game for fun. Please remember that and repeat it a couple of times to yourself before panicking. A mislynch is not the end of the world or time to despair or have ‘no fucking comment’. That just spoils the fun.

I think Natlaw has a point though. For whatever reason, you guys are mislead [apparently] after anything I say.
How can I compete in this game, if I come off that way from the start, before the actual gamesmanship starts?

But no, I don’t think you mislead anyone but yourself. Reread your posts Summer One - you had a very good start. Then for some reason you took the speculation that special ed defended a Mason Scuba_Ben/Red Skeezix and somehow you* had to tell* everyone that was no true. But the only point where we actually would have needed that info was if he had actually false claimed Mason.
And I Was talking about my play in general, for all games. Don’t get all constipated over that. And if your >< eyes don’t mean that, then you should have stated it, or not used it.

I can’t speak as to what other players did, or didn’t do, implied or didn’t imply, even if it makes no apparent sense. [What Drain wanted to accomplish by being ambiguous on a possible mason Skeezix is beyond me.**]
As for me, I was at a point where I felt I could not contribute anymore to the game, unless I claimed. There are times where quite frankly, my words even fail me. The take home from this is, as I think I stated earlier, you guys only know me from Mafia, imagine those thought processes in all aspects of life, 24-7. To me, it seemed next to every point I wanted to make would be a PIS.
** Even now, forming this sentence was difficult to me. I wanted to say “Why drain didn’t unconfirm Skeezix” or something similar, but I figured that wouldn’t work for you guys. I actually had to spend more time to find the words I used. Imagine this, along with the fear of slipping on PIS, even though you are town. I had no more freedom left unconfirmed, I saw a lot of freedom after I Was, so I moved to get there.I “moved” to confirm myself so I could add more to the game.
As the Pond shook off the seasonal frost, its denizens were shocked-- shocked– to find that Drain Bead had been Outcompeted in the scarce Winter months.

Well, let’s go waaaay outside the box here. Let’s do something no one would expect Meeko to do.

I count 8 players remaining and 1 Spawn so that means that we can’t possibly have 4 remaining living Scum or the game would be over. But there is a very good possibility we have 3 Scum+1 spawn vs 5 Town in which case a mislynch Today and a Town death Tonight would leave us at 3Scum+1Spawn vs 3 Town (ie we are currently at lynch or lose). Less likely is 2scum+1spawn vs 6Town which would leave us at 2+1 vs 4 tomorrow. So we’re either at LyLo now, or tomorrow.
So I’m not sure I agree with the less than, but I would agree with less than or equal to three lynches remaining.

Yes, if there are seven town left we would only need to lynch the Spawn to lynch. Except the fact that a Spawn spawned means there is at least one Scum alive.
So best case 7 Town - 1 Scum - 1 Spawn. Six Scum originally (thus four now) would be 4 town - 4 scum - 1 spawn or game over already. Five starting Scum gives 5 town - 3 scum - 1 spawn or lynch or lose. Four starting Scum (unlikely in my opinion with four masons) would be 6 town - 2 scum - 1 spawn and still able to mislynch once (for 4-2-1 Tomorrow).
Going with 5-3-1:
A scum-scum lynch gives 5-1-1 and 4-1-2 Tomorrow (lylo or dual spawn lynch for 3-1-1).
A scum-spawn lynch gives 5-2-0 and 4-2-1 Tomorrow (can mislynch).
A scum-town lynch gives 4-2-1 and 3-2-2 (loss);
A town-spawn lynch gives 4-3-0 and 3-3-1 (loss);
A town-town lynch gives 3-3-1 (loss).
So we need either dual scum or scum-spawn (with five starting scum) to stay in the game. I don’t think a dual player lynch is the way to go this Summer as the Spawn is 100% certain correct lynch.

I have always said I had the Madness. If I only had the Method, I would be set.
I would like to hear from Sach. If he is town, then his feedback would be a good step forward, instead of mine, which I can assure you is less than stable. [Scum would have voted me last night if I was on top of my game.]
If Sach is scum, the reasons he gives will be intereesting to read, even more interesting to dissect. If it smells like PIS we should know something.

If we knew for sure how many scum we had left, I think you find your above argument to hold more water than it does. We don’t know numbers, and therefore I’m not sure what weight to put on the vote order.
