Wow, I had 7 matches in a row that I picked the right outcome (not necessarily the right score). That ought to raise me up a couple of spots. When is round 2 going to start up?
Well, I suck, but I am flying to Korea tonight for tomorrow’s match, and I may just traipse about the countryside for the next two weeks going to as many matches as my credit card will support, which could be a lot. How many of you can match that? 
Oh, and I got a bunch of decent quality gear at Mah Boon Krong in Bangkok while I was here. So there!
Oh, and while I am on a roll, what a great game by the Koreans tonight! It must be bedlam in Seoul. Very good to see the home side doing well, just hope the magic wears off by June 10th.
From what I saw the Japanese should have won as well, the ref really got fooled on disallowing that third goal. Belgium were very lucky to come out of that with a point.
Korea were very good. Pacy, and they can defend, too (Although it has to be said that Poland’s defence isn’t that great. Bit of a shock for Dudek, after a season of having the Liverpool defence in front of him!). I reckon we’ll be seeing a few of them playing in our European home leagues before long. Their captain’s bloody good. I think they’ll walk all over the USA.

Twist of Fate are there any online discussion forums devoted to the World Cup, preferably focused on England’s participation, that you’d recommend? I’ve Googled around and haven’t come up with anything that quite fits the bill.

Just a quick check in to tell you I’ve got goosebumps walking around Itaewon, seeing the other fans, getting razzed by the Italians with a Vigo cheer. Will catch some quick food, slather my head with sunscreen and then take the train down to Suwon. Game starts in about 5 hours!
FWIW the Internet speed here is infinitely better than Thailand, but the cafes are harder to find.
