SD spam?

I have just received this email. As far as I can tell, there is no researcher80. I have not clicked on the links, apart from the ‘thread is located at’ one, which does take me to the thread. I have disabled all links, for safety’s sake (by putting a space after http.)

The post, needless to say, isn’t there.

Any ideas?

Easy to explain. The moderators quickly spot spammers, and delete all their messages.
ETA - by the way, it’s probably not a good idea to go quoting spam like this. The mods have removed it, so putting it back again is not good. Just so you know.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve never had one of these before, and I was worried that it was the email that was the problem, not the post.

Yeah, sorry you got that. I’ve un-linked the links you quoted, no sense in giving spammers more publicity (or running the risk of someone clicking on it by accident.)
