I’m still not sure what to make of my team. My starters are just okay. My bench is phenomenal. So far I’ve been getting lucky with picking the right guys by matchup but at some point I’m going to start leaving touchdowns on the bench.
This league has pissed me off beyond belief. I end up with both McCoy and AP as my RBs and…well fuck.

The RB situation this year is pretty insane. I have McCoy in another league and I’ve just been waiting for a good week so that I can trade him away. In this league, Bush was always a decent enough Flex and I planned on using him whenever the hell Murray decided to fall apart. Now, it looks like I am just all in on my WRs. Of course, you won’t hear me complain if Manning keeps throwing to Thomas like that.
I’m pretty happy so far (how could I not be?), but I do feel that I’m on borrowed time a bit with Gronk now: he’s fully back in the snap count and the game plan, so both in RL and fantasy the clock is ticking on my team losing its TE…
I should be in first place after this week, if I did the math right. Rather improbably, all three four-win teams are going to win this week which means there will be a huge logjam of more-or-less tied teams for the last four playoff spots.
For some reaason the trade deadline was incorrectly set at the default of Nov 14. It’s been corrected to be the 28th, the last week yahoo allows.
Amazingly I put up 157 points with 42 points from Hopkins and 36 points from Mason on my bench. My optimal lineup this week would’ve been 235.
This is only the second time in 9 years I didn’t make the playoffs.
Yeah, I was kicking myself (I had Stills on the bench and had dropped Fleener) trying to figure what I should have done… and then realized that it was useless. That was a monster of a game.

I’m in the playoffs, and I’ve been near the top of this league all season. It’s weird, because my team feels weak.
I’ve been on fire after my 0-2 start. 11 straight wins and into the BYE I go. Hopefully, my team holds up in the next few weeks. I am going to go ahead and give credit to the Auction Draft that I didn’t want for leading me to my best year in this league so far. Playoffs!?!
I squeaked into a bye - my team was a bit better than the total points might indicate (because I punted a week when I couldn’t even field a full team because of byes and needing to hold on to injury handcuffs), but in a just world I’d have been jockeying for the last playoff spot rather than sitting here with a week off. Nothing wrong with finally having a good luck year, though.
I do think Team Frosted is a pretty decent favorite… then again, being so WR dependent leaves at least a little bust potential. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs!
