SDMB Auction Fantasy Football 2011

I’m willing to package one of my QBs (Tebow, Ryan, Freeman) and one of my WRs (Bowe, Maclin, Roddy White) for a top QB.

Is that a multi-league proposal?

Woops, no, I meant to post that in the all pro thread.

I’m looking to trade a RB for some WR depth. I’ve got Reggie Bush, AP, James Starks, Mark Ingram, and Roy Helu. In addition, Mark Sanchez is available.

Trade: Jules gives Percy Harvin for Dale’s James Starks.

Who the hell would’ve guessed Chris Ogbanaya >>>> Chris Johnson? Doesn’t look good for me this week barring a historic performance from Brady.

At least Omni is laying an egg too and I’m not falling a game behind.

Commish, I can’t get changes to go thru on my phone. I would like Brees rather than Smith at QB. Can you help the Court Jesters out?

Sure, no problem.

Jimmy Graham won me the all-pro league game, and he lost Omni the game here, which keeps me in the playoff hunt for that 4th slot.

I had Nelson and Jones in my starting lineup heading into Thursday. Then I tried to get cute by playing the guys going against crappy teams without considering how crappy their QBs were. :smack:

Three of the playoff seeds are locked up by Overly Sentimental, Crowley’s Bentley, and Duke’s Devils.

The last spot is technically within the reach of 5 people - Omni is the frontrunner, myself in second, Jules in third, and then Benders, Jesters, and Varlos needing to win out to have a shot at it. I’ll get more specific next week as the playoff picture solidifies.

Omni effectively holds the tiebreaker, neither Jules or I are likely to make up that gap in 2 weeks. So practically, if Omni wins out, he’s in. If he doesn’t, and either Jules or I win out, one of us will be in - and I’ve likely got the tiebreaker although 60 points in 2 weeks is managable.

… and I type out all that without looking at the schedule. Jules plays Omni this week, so that’ll be interesting. Jules would be doing me a favor by winning - if I should win too I’d become the fourth seed going into the last week - but obviously that’s the only way he can help himself too. Could be interesting.

I’m thinking about resting my starters. Maybe give Stafford some time to get his finger right.

The trade deadline is this Friday, Dec 2. Please check your leagues/offers often during the next few days.

I will trade Shonn Greene or Darren Sproles for a decent WR. I will also trade Chris Johnson for a fairly good one. I know Johnson has been a huge dissapointment, but he just put up 200 yards last week so he appears to be starting to get it. Plus he’s got a very favorable schedule from here on out.

Not much time left to make offers. I don’t know if the deadline being tomorrow means tomorrow is included in the trade time, but hopefully it is. If you work out some sort of deal tomorrow morning and find that the stupid thing actually ended trades on Friday, I can force it through as commish. But tomorrow is the last day I’d do that - I’m just doing it to protect people who thought trade deadline = friday is inclusive, just in case it isn’t.

I forgot that I was starting the Seahawks defense, which I probably wouldn’t have done if I had remembered, but it worked out to the tune of 17 points.

I would have felt better if you explained that it was part of your genius plan.

Maybe my genius plan is to start all my players by accident!

Benders actually has all 3 of his active players at a negative score right now. That has to be pretty rare…

Hey, awesome, Chris Johnson is really getting his shit together just in time for the playoffs.
Except I’m going to miss the playoffs because I drafted Chris Johnson.

I steal the 4th playoff seed from Omni if:

Ryan Mathews does not outscore Darren Sproles by 14 points

and

Malcolm Floyd doesn’t outscore Jason Hanson by 16 points.

Which is really pretty amazing for a team that has suffered through Chris Johnson this year and didn’t draft any receivers. Man was I shitty this year.

Chris Johnson, this will be your chance to make it up to me.
