Since it’s a trade I’m involved in, go ahead and register your habitual complaints. I think it’s pretty fair though - #1 TE for the #4 RB - if anything the value favors him, especially considering Gonzo is better than Caddy.
I’m planning on making the trade go through before gametime Sunday. As always, if the league ends up deciding to veto this it can be undone.
I’d like to point out, in review, that It’s Not Rocket Surgery! probably does not feel buttraped having the #2 overall RB in exchange for the 27th overall WR.
I’m gonna push the trade through now. Not giving myself special treatment - I said early in the thread that I’m going to push trades through before gametime. If there ends up being controversy and objections and the league wants to nullify it, I can retroactively revert the trade after the fact. I don’t see that being a problem here, so I want to give Overly Sentimental a a chance to set his roster.

I accepted a trade with Quentin’s JAMmers. I receive Ahmad Bradshaw and Louis Murphy and I trade DeSean Jackson and Fred Jackson. I need running back help, I handcuffed Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams and that hasn’t worked out.

Anyway, if Jules also wants it fast tracked, I’ll go ahead and do it. I don’t want to catch him by surprise if he was expecting the trade for next week.
I’ll be leaving for the bar soon so just declare your intentions before kickoff and if I don’t process it in time, I’ll retroactively go fix it. If you’d prefer to just let it go through next week too that’s fine.

I didn’t even know the trade had been accepted. I hadn’t even considered that it could have been accepted and pushed through. I guess I should have known the second that Jackson got hurt since that’s how fantasy has gone for me all season long.
I think I would stand to benefit if the trade gets pushed through retroactively (Jackson scored a couple touchdowns) but honestly I hadn’t even considered that it would be processed for this week. I wasn’t planning on it.So I don’t think it should go through for this week.
I can’t do it now - it’s too easy to game the system if you get to choose afterwards whether to make the trade retroactive. Not that I think that’s what you’re doing, but it would make for bad policy in general. As long as both teams give me their intentions before the games I can make sure it happens how you want it, but I guess that trade caught you by surprise.
