Not been around for quite some time due to being quite busy with Erin, who will be 1 YEAR OLD in just a couple weeks. Her first Christmas was brilliant and I’m sure we’ll have many more like it.
Thought I’d pop in, say howdy and announce the quickly approaching birth of baby number 2 who is due sometime in April.
I’m sure I’m not the only bump in the crowd.
Hands up if you, or your partner, are expecting. Feel free to share due dates and anything else!!
No bump here (at least, not one that is going away anytime soon) but good grief that’s a cute kid, and I just adore the bearskin rug. Her expression in the first pic is priceless. Her face looks much older than 1.
Adorable.
Congratulations!! Not expecting here…yet. Hopefully, by the time yours arrives, I’ll be well into bumphood. I’m really happy for you and Erin’s adorable!
I have to ask you, though, is your hippo as big of a piece of garbage as mine is?
It won’t pick up the blocks at all. All is not lost though, as my daughter uses hers as a doll carriage.
Congrats Nightingale! Not long now. Erin was born 3 weeks early and was glad as I was miserable. I fully understand the blimpiness
I found the hippo to not be too bad, BNB, if you went fast over the blocks. Going slowly just made them pile up in his mouth. At the moment Erin is having more fun running from one side of the room to the other with it rather than hoovering up the blocks. She also stacks them up in his belly. I think it’s been a good thing as since Christmas the number of steps she has taken increased dramatically. Did 14 today ~ nearly across the room
Wishing you much luck and health C3. Let us know how it goes, eh?
Thanks, TellMeI’mNotCrazy. Erin is so used to having a camera shoved in her face now it’s funny. She grabs for the camera to see what photos I have of her.
Many folks say she looks older than what she is. It could be all the hair. She was born with a full mane of it. The ultrasounds were great the last few weeks as you could see her hair floating all around, which was really cool.
She’s also extremely clever and loves to spend time figuring out how things work ~ lots of poking, prodding and trying to get things to open so she can see inside.
