Other than Nausicaa, you’re pretty much spot on. I would second a nomination for both Spirited Away and Laputa; it may be heresy to say so, but I haven’t seen the other Ghibli features.
I’m trying to think of other features in my collection that don’t offer at least some fan service… maybe the two Patlabor movies? They were pretty serious.
Yami no Matsuei/DoD has MAJOR fanservice - that is, if you count scantily clad guys. And I’m going to count them, because it is the equivalent of the same thing with chicks.
As far as I remember, the Heroic Legend of Arslan doesn’t have any fanservice.
Sorry, I can’t discuss anime with you. My wife is the anime person in our house. I know less than nothing about it.
Hmmm… dubious to me that this could escape the fan service completely - it’s loaded with bishounen!

And you’re right about Touga et al in Utena. When I hastily scribbled out the list I was mentally running down shows I’d seen that didn’t have jiggling boobs and panty shots. I forgot about the bishounen quotient.

(this is going by the “stricter” definition of fan service being sexual in nature. I don’t think there’s any anime (or American TV show for that matter) that doesn’t contain shots or scences for fan amusement outside of what’s needed for the plot.

It actually took me a few moments of thinking when I saw that one on the list; Utena is one of my favourite animes, and I kept thinking “How did I miss that one?” I kept thinking there was *something * about it… ahhh - it’s the boys, not the girls!
And thank goodness I’m not the only one to mention CCS - that one is my favourite. I couldn’t think of anything about it that would count. Fan service would be very disturbing in a show about a ten year old girl. (Some have made an argument about the adorable outfits Tomoyo makes for her, but I don’t think that’s the type of fan service the OP meant - far too innocent).
I seem to recall Ronin Warriors (Yoroiden Samurai Troopers i believe in Japanese) had two females, one plain that wore a sweater in every episode (Mia), and one flat-chested villain (Kayura) very late in the series who wore either a longer than her body robe or dull body armor.
Uh, Yugi always wears a leather collar.

I’m Sure the Mecha fanservice is in there somewhere, but as the characters can’t have sex …
The One episode I saw three times back when Tech TV was Tech TV, was with the Three guys from the Space shuttle, and they converse on how much has changed. One of the astronauts (from the 21st century past) plants one on one of the characters… who objects stating that - that is not the propper way to perform mouth to mouth.
Then again, isnt Anime (Most of it) an excuse to show what they can get away with?

Ok prob not what we are looking for, as it is a movie, and not a series, but I can only recall motorcycles as being the most Mecha-ized item. There was the clown biker gang, but uh, if peeps are into that … then Im sorry I asked.

I don’t recall Heatguy J having any fanservice (I just learned a new term!). I only got to see about six or so episodes before MTV2 yanked it, so my submission may be inaccurate.

Am I being wooshed? Cute girls running around in sailor suits. Not to mention the American release was edited and I’ve heard rumors of an episode where the sailor scouts compare breast sizes.
