The SDMB clock is five minutes ahead of the clocks on my network, which are in sync with time.gov
Don’t know if it much matters, but thought I’d let y’all know. /w

Me too - five mins slow.
Furthermore, Daylight Saving Time for the UK hasn’t kicked in on the server yet (it commenced at 1am, Sunday 28th Oct). We are now GMT over here, but the clock hasn’t yet updated itself and is still showing us GMT+1. I do have DST settings enabled in my options.
Didn’t we have this same thread about 2 weeks ago?
Test post to check time
ETA the hour is correct, but seems a little fast minute-wise.
The time is displayed at the bottom of every page.
Yeah, the time the page was last refreshed.
Frigging timeouts! I must confess that I hadn’t noticed the time at the bottom of the page before.
Well that’s weird - the log of when a post was made is GMT+1, but the clock at the bottom is at GMT+0.
Time is relative here at the Dope.
At some point the clock will be reset and we’ll be okay and then it will drift again. Just how it is.
What? What clock is this that loses minutes over weeks? Water drips are so BC.
Times they are a changin’ Good one, Huh!
That’s rather Einsteinian isn’t it?
Can we add “-ish” at the end of the timestamps?
My old desktop computer would do this. I’d set the time, and as little as a week later it would be several minutes off. I think it went fast, but I don’t remember for sure (I haven’t used it in over 3 years). It was slightly annoying, but it didn’t seem to cause any other problems other than the occasional “wtf? What time is it???” panics. If it affected the computer itself… well, it was already running Win98, so it couldn’t get much worse, could it!
I think I read a thread about this later tonight.
As of right now, the clock is back in sync. Nice job, Jerry (or whomever did whatever).
