Wayyyy back in 2003, I submitted a threadasking about a little known comedy sketch from 1997. I didn’t get much in the way of responses.

I left the SDMB for a long time, but after many years, I came back this week just to see what was going on. (I had left when my first paid subscription ran out).

I did a search of my old threads, and lo and behold LAST WEEK, there was a response to the thread froman alleged creator of the sketch (who only joined as far as I could tell to post that reply). Then someone attached a current YouTube video of it.

I had completely forgotten about that thread, and indeed the sketch, but how random (and awesome) was it to get a response that was seemingly timed for me to rejoin.

Anyway, I’m back, and thought this was mundane and pointless enough to share.

Isn’t there a recent thread about odd coincidences? Have you posted to it yet?
