Anyone who still wants in is welcome. I want to try to get an even number of teams so we can do a head to head format, and I’m not sure how that’ll work out considering there’s a decent chance someone will miss the draft anyway.

I’m not sure if ESPN will have a pre-draft lobby that will show who’s logged in like yahoo does. We need some way to determine whether or not someone is logged in before the draft starts - I would rather not allow anyone to autodraft (there’s a lot more planning and finesse needed in auction drafts and auto-drafters would screw up the dynamics I think) and only play with people that are actually there.
LOUNE hasn’t accepted his invite yet but he PMed me that he would sometime today. If he hasn’t done that by 8 or so I’ll have to boot him or the draft won’t run. Everyone else appears to be signed up.
We have 13 members right now. I’m guessing someone will miss the draft but maybe not. If everyone shows, we’ll have to either play a points only league or someone will have to volunteer to step down so we can play a head to head league. I’ll go either way - I prefer a head to head league but if everyone here is enthusiastic about playing I won’t force anyone to leave.
Please stay posted to this thread around 8pm eastern. Anyone who can’t be confirmed to be logged in one way or the other by 8:50 or so will probably be booted from the league in order to prevent the computer from autodrafting.

If everyone shows up, I have absolutely no problem stepping down.
And I think Ellis is right, the yahoo messages are more likely to work.
I hope we are able to recruit one more before the draft. Does anyone in the many other leagues want in?
I only see 12 players in the espn league. “Team 4” has no owner listed if you click on it. Can we nix that spot and just go with the 12 we have?

Team 4 is the unaccepted invite extended to LOUNE. He said he’d accept it tonight, but if it isn’t within the next few minutes I’ll have to boot him in order not to have our draft cancelled.
That will leave us with 12, but there’s no guarantee everyone will show - if one person doesn’t make it we’ve still got an odd number.
Ah, crap, I had totally and blissfully forgotten that this was tonight.
I’ll be there for sure if I don’t forget again in the next 57 minutes.
