Yes. Our draft is not just rookies but any unowned players (free agents) at the end of last year. Since it looked like Gronk was done, no one had him on their roster, so he’s available to draft. So he’s yours with the 2.12.
I’m guessing he comes out of the gate really hot and I can put some W’s on the board before his knee explodes once and for all.

I would have liked to get one of the top two QBs, but otherwise I’m really happy with my draft and I like Herbert’s upside. I’m interested in trading one or more of Kendrick Bourne, Tim Patrick, Chris Herndon, Noah Fant, David Njoku, Adrian Peterson, Rex Burkhead, or Myles Gaskin for a starting QB.
I’m not sure what you’re referring to with banning future pick trading. We’ve had future pick trading pretty consistently and I don’t recall ever discussing banning it, but I may be forgetting. We do only allow future trading of the next year’s picks, and not beyond, which may be what you’re thinking of.
In case it wasn’t clear to anyone else, RNATB selected James Robinson, who was probably going to be one of my picks. Made it this far, damn.
Alright I’ve got 2 picks to make back to back and I’m going to be a while, but we’ve only got 4 picks left in the whole draft after me so we’re doing fine on time.
Years ago I argued against future pick trading, but ultimately was outvoted. Maybe thinking of that?
Ah yes, probably, that was years ago but I recall your objection now. IIRC the league as a whole was pretty in favor of it overall, and I think it’s been a pretty useful tool. We haven’t really been burned by it and I doubt we will.
Was there maybe an issue the first couple of years since there weren’t many people to cut? I don’t really remember, I can’t believe I was in about 10 leagues from 2008-2012 or so.
