There’s always bye weeks.
This does not appear to be working for me. All the teams still have full rosters from before cuts, so only free agents who were not on any team show as available.
Unfortunately no.
Shit. You appear to be right. What’s weird is that rookies disappear from the available list as we add them to the in-progress draft (so it is looking at the draft to figure out who is available) but it’s not showing the cuts as being part of the available pool. It used to do that, right? You could search under the players tab and see released veterans as well as undrafted rookies. I’m not sure why it’s not doing that now.
Weirdly enough when I try to go to the submit draft results function, it just takes me back to the default yahoo fantasy football page. I wonder if something is broken. @Jules_Andre, do you know what’s going on with the players tab not showing all available players?
I might not be understanding. When I go to the Players tab, only players who are currently available are listed. Bijan Robinson is showing on RNATB’s team when I search for him. If you don’t search for a name and instead sort the Player list by the pre-season rankings, the highest available rookies are at the top without listing the drafted ones. But the team pages themselves are not updated. That’s a Yahoo problem
It used to be, I think, that it would list all players that were unowned in the in-progress draft, including players that were cut and removed from those teams before the draft. (When you’d go to the draft submission screen and remove a cut player from that team’s draft). It’s removing rookies as they’re placed on teams in the draft from the all available players pool, but it didn’t add cut players who were cut from a team in the same draft submission window, which is odd.
To pick a random example, Omni cut Chase Edmonds, and I would expect him to show up on the player list when set to “all available players” since he should register as a free agent/unowned, but he still shows up as being on Omni’s team. This may come into play later if someone is looking at the projected stats for next season and wants to see what draftable players (both cuts, free agents, and undrafted rookies) but the cuts won’t show up there. In the past I think they did.
Oh, okay, I did misunderstand. That did used to work, no idea why it wouldn’t now
Are you able to get into the draft submission editing screen? It just brings me back to the fantasy football league selection page, something seems to be broken.
No, I can’t. It is definitely broken
Well the submission portal was fixed, but cut players aren’t showing as being available. If you guys are considering drafting non-rookies, you may have to look at the thread to see who was cut in case you’re interested in drafting them. Sorry about that. I don’t know if yahoo changed how it works or what, but it’s a weirdly inconsistent performance as far as where they’re getting their data.
I’m here. Pick coming shortly.
I think I found them all - but please check your cut lists for accuracy
I’m not sure this is right because I was certain someone had picked him up last season, but Yahoo says Sam Howell, QB-Was is available. If so, he’s pick 2.1. Otherwise, it’s CJ Stroud because I was kind of hoping to pick him here anyway.
I kept Pierre Strong.
My bad - he was on your initial cut list and I missed pulling him off after your update. Apparently post is too old now for me to edit.
I notice on Yahoo that if I navigate to my Keepers page, no keepers are selected. IIRC in the past all retained players were set as keepers. That may be why the list is not updating.
If anyone can confirm this pick, I should be ready to draft shortly.
I’m pretty sure you can look at draft results to see where all the keepers are slotted. I was just looking at it yesterday when I made that correction to my spreadsheet/posted order adding Peteys’ missing last pick at 6.12.
Assuming you can get to the draft results and see all the keepers slotted in, just do a search on Sam Howell and see if he’s slotted as a keeper anywhere.
I would check now but I’m on my phone, and the app doesn’t appear to give access to that screen right now.
Sam Howell does not show on anyone’s keeper list.
The Draft Results | Fantasy Football | Yahoo! Sports draft results page is definitive except it may be a pick or two behind. But if anyone kept a player it’s all there.
We were talking about the player list page earlier which used to update as we updated the draft but doesn’t seem to be functioning the same way now. You used to be able to, for example, see all available players listed by projected points this season, but for some reason it doesn’t correctly account for cut players being free agents, it lists them as still being on the team that cut them. If you’re interested in someone that was cut before the draft you can still draft them, you’ll just have to find them in the above cut lists rather than yahoos player list screen.
