It seems like Jules is busy this year so I don’t think we’re going to get them but for what it’s worth I miss your roster review write ups. Omni did good draft reviews too but typically not for this league. I can’t do anything like that really because to be honest I’m not really in tune with the NFL for the last 2 or 3 years.
Yeah, I’m still packing to sell my house and move across country. I don’t think I’ll have the chance this year. I did update the schedule to reflect the format we have been using. The spreadsheet template I uploaded to Google Drive is very helpful now. The first sheet lets me choose which team placed where in each division. The other sheets have the schedules filled in by year, and you just copy over as is. Every year I improved it to make it more usable, and it only took 10-15 minutes to get updated. Regarding defenses, I’m in favor of keeping them but removing the ability for a defense to score negative points for the team (lowest possible score being 0). It seems far too punitive to have a bad defense as you really can’t fix that year to year by drafting. And it is silly that in some cases you are better off not playing a defense at all.
I have an extra player on my roster. I dropped Rondale Moore. So I think I may have been shorted a draft pick.
Looks like you’re right and I made an error when doing your cutdowns. You should’ve had the 5.08 pick. Sorry. I don’t think it’s ever happened before but at this point I don’t know if there’s anything we can do about it except maybe throw you a few FAAB bucks to compensate a bit. It doesn’t feel right to undo anyone’s pick after yours.
Everyone is still on waivers in Yahoo, right? He could just call out who he wants with that pick right now here in the thread. It’s not fully 5.08 value but there were only six picks in the entire draft after 5.08.
That’s a good idea. I can’t undo the picks that happened at the end of the draft but you can have first crack at the free agents in the waiver period. RNATB can pick any unowned player he wants and I’ll just put him on the roster without it doing the waiver resolution. We’d need the pick soon though

I guess technically he could still pick after kickoff, just if it’s after kickoff he can’t pick anyone from the Ravens or Chiefs. But definitely tonight, like by midnight, I would think.

I want Rondale Moore to make waivers so that everyone has a chance to pick him up, but if I edit RNATB’s roster as commissioner her just becomes a free agent, and doesn’t become part of waivers. So when the waiver period ends tomorrow, I want RNATB to simply pick up Cam Akers and drop Rondale Moore. That way he’ll go on waivers and everyone can take a crack at him. If anyone else made a waiver bid for Cam Akers, please delete it.
I don’t think anyone is rushing to pick up Moore since he’s on IR and hasn’t done anything since his rookie year, but I put in a claim for Akers
Edit: I went ahead and added Akers to your roster, but for some reason even though Moore is listed on your roster, he doesn’t appear in the “drop” function on the commissioner roster edit. He does appear if I try to change his position. I think maybe I can’t drop people on IR for some reason. Anyway, go ahead and drop him manually please @Really_Not_All_That_Bright
Jules, Ellis, Peteys and I are having big weeks, significantly above everyone else. Which is rough for Peteys and I, because one of us is gonna lose to one of the few other people that could’ve beat us.
I fucked up and didn’t realize there was a Friday night game. I didn’t put much thought into setting my roster and if I had I would’ve started Jayden Reed (31 points) over Tyler Lockett. Oh well. I ended up subbing Shaheed out for Lockett anyway and while he’s not putting up 31 points it’s a pretty good score.
Kyle Pitts had a TD. I didn’t see it, but it has been such a rarity it becomes noticeable. New normal, I hope.

I’m a little shocked by this explosion from my team. I may score 160+ and not because any player had a freakish game, everyone just did really well. And I had Reed (31 points) and Dobbins (21 points) on my bench too. I’d like to invite everyone on board the Exploding Pancakes fan bus. We can all win together in spirit.
