Sorry, I should’ve posted this earlier rather than now at the moment the pick would be. The measure for retroactively cutting players who were cut on the NFL during the cut down to 53 players was tied at 5 votes to 5 votes with one abstention. A new rule proposal needs to win its vote – a tie goes to keeping things how they are.
However, two people that voted no did say they’d support allowing the player to be cut and giving the pick at the end of the draft, rather than giving an extra pick to the player in what would be their normal draft order. So I would say that that measure – getting a draft pick at the end of the draft – would be considered to have passed. However, RNATB may not want to cut Corley if the result is a 7th rounder rather than a third rounder. For next year we’ll work out the exact rule, but for this year I’ll say he can choose – he can keep Corley on his roster or get a pick at the end of the draft (7th round) instead.
3.05 Jarquez Hunter, RB, LAR
I hadn’t given Hunter a hard look at 2.10 but I’ve been doing research on and off all day and I have to say, this pick has me kind of excited. He has a great opportunity to supplant Kyren in LAR and to be part of an offense that consistently produces a rushing attack. He was impressive in the SEC without taking too much punishment. Compared to Giddens and Etienne his situation is a lot more appealing.

Ugh - really good pick. As round 2 ended I started to imagine he might be there for me at 3.07
Thanks! When working with Omni on our big trade, getting 3.01 back was critical to me because I didn’t think Thornton would last to my 3.05. That was always going to be my Thornton slot. But then I started to worry 3.01 wasn’t early enough.
He definitely would not have made it to 3.05, in case you were wondering.
