I’ve gotten offers for Jeanty at #1 overall. I will say that I’m listening. If anyone is high on him, feel free to reach out.
Alright, tallying up the votes.
Proposal 1: Removing defenses. 1 yes, 8 no. Measure failed
Proposal 2: Removing kickers. 3 yes, 6 no, Measure failed.
Proposal 3: Rework defensive scoring. 3 yes, 5 no, one maybe. Two of the nos were “lean no” and “soft no/abstain” and I’m not sure if I should treat those differently or just count them as a no. This one is pretty close. See below.
Proposal 4: #1 seed picks opponent in semi-final round, 2 yes, 5 no. Measure failed.
Since proposal 3 is close, and we have a more concrete idea of the sort of scoring change people want, and I just figured out we can do polls in normal threads in this forum, I’m going to put it up to a vote again with a more specific proposal:
Should we return to yahoo default scoring for points allowed by a D/ST? (Less extreme at both ends - defenses will receive fewer points for a shutout or holding opponents to a very low score, but also receive fewer negative points for allowing a high score)
- Yes
- No
- Abstain
It looks like the draft starts in 4 days, and we only have cuts from 5 teams so far? We gotta make some progress there

Good Luck All!
Yes, get your rosters in. I’m like 98% done I’m just wavering on whether I should keep the last 2 guys at the end of my roster.
I traded essentially my third round pick last year for Justin’s 2nd round pick this year. That trade ended up working out well for me – it ended up being the third pick of the second round. I don’t have a target yet but I may end up trying to move my 1.11 and 2.03 to move up in the first round if there turns out to be someone I really like. I rarely get the chance to draft in the top half of the first round, and when I do I pass on Jamarr Chase
FInal(ish) cut list:
5 draft picks
Would you guys mind listing your cuts in a separate list rather than just bolded? For some reason with the new board software bolding is hard to distinguish for me and it’s easier to double check for errors if there are separate lists for kept and cut players. Thanks.

We still need cut lists for @EllisDee @dalej42 and @Ol_Gaffer
You still have about 45 hours to do them but let’s try to avoid making them last minute if we can. I don’t want to hold up the draft.
I’ve been in the field all week, am driving home tonight. Will post my cuts tomorrow morning.
I sat down to do my cuts last night but then ended up with multiple decisions I’m struggling with. After sleeping on it, I’m still struggling. I’ll get them in tonight or tomorrow.
(In an ideal world our cut downs would be after the NFL’s on the 26th. But then again, trying to guess if a guy is going to make a 53-man roster is a pretty good sign that I could probably just cut him, right?)
Omni did suggest last year that we start the draft after the NFL cuts last year. I considered making it a rules proposal but ultimately made an executive decision that it would cut into the draft and having the extra time for the draft was probably more valuable than final news on edge case players. I figured if the 53 man rosters were due on the 26th then we probably wouldn’t require cuts and start the draft until the 27th. Cutting 3 days out of our draft would be a lot.
I would be comfortable with letting people declare “if this guy doesn’t make an NFL roster, I want to cut him” and give the team an extra draft pick as if they cut the player on time. It’s extremely unlikely the cut decision will matter at the front of the draft over the first 3 days. Seems like the best of both worlds but let me know what you guys think.
Is @Ol_Gaffer a scarecrow? Or maybe a archeologist? Now I’m picturing playing fantasy football with Indiana Jones.
as requested
Hello from the UK! I’ll get my cuts in soon and review trade proposals.
Wow. So, weirdly enough, without doxxing myself too much I am, in fact, an archaeologist (seriously).

RB Tyler Goodson, IND
WR Demarcus Robinson, SF
