Already have my $102 bid in for Jackie Battle.
Hey, I might actually get a win this week. The comeback begins.
More Bowe garbage time TDs against me.
Niners defense 35 points, awww yeah. Thank you for dropping them last year VarlosZ!
Woo, I finally hit a projected score.
Pulled into first in my division too.
I had the weird feeling when I was routing for the Dolphins though they couldn’t do too good, because SenorBeef has the Miami defense and I have the Arizona defense.
In the end it didn’t matter when Rogers threw the TD to Nelson.
Pete
A) I fucked up massively doing silly FAAB bids in this league
B) $5 for Bolden and $3 for Jackie Battle seems like everyone is asleep at the switch
I am sick this week and forgot to put my claims in /excuses
I wanted to see if they’d fall to free agency because I overspent on Kahlil Bell. /excuses
I don’t have a great feeling about Bolden. Even if he gets meaningful carries going forward, it’s the Pats, so you never know when they’re actually coming.
Jackie Battle is now the starter in SD? Man I wish I had actually put in that $102 bid now.
Wish I’d put in my planned $20 “keep em honest” bid on Battle but I didn’t love his performance and was skeptical he’d get the job. Already proven wrong once, I’m skeptical he keeps the job for much longer.
Midwest division is the clear score leader so far with all 4 teams having over 500, and no teams in other divisions having 500 - me being the closest at 487. It’s remarkable after 4 years how balanced this league is.
Sunbelt division has a leg up on grabbing the wildcard slot, being one game ahead of any competition and not far behind on points.
I’ve started off fairly slowly with Rodgers not looking like himself until this week and the Mathews situation, which may just be getting worse, but I think my team will get stronger as we go.
I think I have something in my throat…
Can’t quite shake it loose…
I HAVE 489…
Ah, there it goes.
ETA: Also, RetroVertigo only has 416.
While there have been some typical for this league moments (like my loss to NY Fanboys who scored more against me than he did in two of his other weeks COMBINED), I’m still sitting OK at 2-2 with the second highest scoring team in the league.
The story is, of course, the utter dominance of that bastard Stringers team. 4-0 with most points scored and no signs of letting up.
On the other half of the spectrum, we have Ellis Dee and his New York team floundering with a woeful 348 points for and Retro Vertigo with the league worst 0-4 record, but with some nice consistency and improvement.
And a great start for Omni’s Ides of Martz which is rebuilding faster than expect thanks to … well, I’m not really sure how. But a good start nonetheless.
It should be interesting with the bye weeks coming up and as more injuries take their toll. Just please don’t let them happen to me.
I have never been better than 2-2 to start the season. Aiming for 16-0 this year, you guys.
The Yahoo projections do have you going 14-0 this year. But your challenge will be Week 8 when both Ray Rice and Arian Foster are on a bye.
This year has certainly been … disappointing so far. I really thought that with making the playoffs last year I’d be able to maybe get lucky and compete for a championship this year. Chris Johnson’s horrible last year effort didn’t seem to affect me as badly as this year has so far.
Next years #1 overall pick is now on the block.
I only get to play him once this year and it’s not ideal for me in terms of bye weeks, but it should be an interesting game.
Woo, last day defense pickup, 23 points.
