I very nearly took Amaro. I need him more than I need Manziel, and given his draft position and opportunity he’d be a good value. I just didn’t like his game tape – didn’t play seem to play fast or get open or have great hands for a highly-touted receiving TE, and his combine numbers were nothing special. Plus I guess I don’t trust the Jets at all.
I had all the same emotions. But it’s possible that he’s the TE1 in Week 1 and some people seem to think Geno has turned the corner. Once Rex gets fired it’s possible that a year from now his situation will be much better. His preseason tape sucks, but it’s the preseason…and he was productive at TTU, for whatever that’'s worth.

When I was looking at the pick I somehow missed that you’d drafted Hartline, so I was debating between the two. I could use some help at WR due to the Welker brain-mush thing and Hartline while unexciting will be productive this year for sure. In the end, I need reliable starting RBs if I’m ever going to win this thing so I’ll just have to continue to keep my fingers crossed that I can find a waiver wire WR.

NOTE TO ALL: Since I had to enter the keepers manually this year, it’s never a bad idea to take a pass over your keepers on Yahoo to make sure everything is entered correctly.

Yep, my mistake, I forgot about the trades, just assumed you had picks in Rounds 1-3 instead of 3-5. It’s still all set up. (And Starks isn’t eating up your 4th, but rather your 6th.)
Pick coming within an hour. I feel like I should be doing something other than drafting high upside WRs endlessly in the draft, but that’s all I ever do.
