Well, at least I can draft a running back this year.
Isotope’s optimum score, with Manning still to play, is 222.
I’m gonna get the priviledge of getting demolished by him in the first round of the playoffs.
Edit: That’s also with the Colts D pitching a shutout so far so that could come down. Still.
These are late, this is for last week, week 11

So it turns out that Chad Henne did start for **furt **this week, and actually put up more points than Jon Kitna. So, unless **furt **specifically requests that I retro-start Kitna, I’ll just leave it as is – for all I know he was confident that Henne was going to start and just wanted Kitna as a backup. (It’s not going to affect the outcome of the game, if you’re curious … unless Larry Fitzgerald puts up 40 points tonight.)
Scratch that. The Jets 21 DEF points paled in comparison to the Chargers 27.
And once again I score over 115 and get trounced. That’s the fourth time this season (including this week and last week). Only Hamlet comes close (it’s happened to him three times) to challenging me for the “Screwed by the Schedule” award.
Yeah, that $105 I paid for Jacoby Ford really paid off this week. Without him, tonight would be a nail-biter for our game.
Yeah. While it’s not impossible for Frank Gore to put up 30 tonight and put me over the top, I would have had a much better shot if you had started any of your other WRs and I only needed to make up 10-15.
The trade deadline is this Friday. I will be pushing through any trades that are agreed to just before the deadline, so long as they aren’t obviously controversial. I don’t know when Yahoo cuts us off, but for our purposes you have until the end of Friday (midnight Pacific) to post any agreed-upon trades here, or to my inbox, or my email, etc.; I’ll put them through manually if necessary.
To clarify, that means 3am EDT on Saturday morning?
Right.
You know, Matt Forte gives me a pretty good player in the RB slot, but trading Michael Vick was probably not the smartest move I’ve ever made.
I convinced myself that he was injury prone (and I know he is). but it doesn’t make me feel any better when he puts up 300 yards, throws 2 TDs and runs for one more.
Maybe next year.
I don’t know man, I am hoping Vick is the final piece to my title puzzle but he is not young, doesn’t slide and is a little injury prone. I definitely have concerns about him in the long run (i.e. Cutler is not tradable for me), but I don’t see how you can feel bad trading for a 24 year old starting RB who has posted back-to-back-to-back 1200+ yard plus rushing/receiving.
I wish he could play Houston every week.
Because Forte fits in too well with the rest of my team. He’s a very feast or famine type player. Yeah, there are weeks he puts up 15 or 20 or 30. But there are also weeks where he puts up 5 and I end up getting obliterated because a few other feast or famine players I have (Eddie Royal, Jason Witten, Saints/NYG Defense) did the same.
I am now officially rooting for Stringer to lose by the margin of his TE score
(after all 207 trade offers I’ve sent him all year have failed, last being Tamme-related)
Sorry! I just love Tolbert. ![]()
Wow, RNATB caught Petey on an off week and may give me a shot at the division.
Actually, it doesn’t matter. I’d have to beat Petey next week anyway, and if I did that, it wouldn’t matter if he lost this week.
It’ll be nice to have a signature win to hang my hat on, although I’m really just fucking up my draft pick.
Ah, if only the playoffs started next week, I’d win my division and take the #2 seed, which would let me face Ellis Dee, which is pretty strongly preferable to Stringer or Isotopes.
But I have to play Isotopes next week to take the division, and Peyton Hillis at Buffalo alone is going to score 115 points.
