I’m a Pisces. I just did a search on my iPhone for “water” and I have 1500 pictures.
ETA: statistically, there must be at least one good one, right?
Heh. I just searched my Lightroom Cloud library for “water” and it found 1998. That’s going back over 15 years of photography though.

First, I must concur that @Turek richly deserved the win in the “Animals” category. What a great picture!
I made my humble entry in the “Water” category. I have quite a few scenic pics of lakes and bays and such, mostly from my memorable cruises in the Georgian Bay area (sadly, neither I nor any of my friends own cruising boats any more, either sail or power) but I picked this pic because it rather dynamically emphasizes the concept of “water” rather than natural beauty and such.

@Zyada That’s a cool photo. I love the ellipsis of it. I think it would have made a fine entry.
I finally got around to entering my own competition for only the second time!
I figured (rightly) that there’d be lots of amazing waterscape photos, beautiful shots of droplets and the like, so I decided to enter something a bit left-field. No-one will accuse my photo of beauty, but I hope it’s fun!
And a shoutout to @romansperson for going out and shooting something especially for the competition. One of my goals when I started this was to encourage people (mainly me, if I’m honest) to get out and take photos. I know that most of us have submitted archive shots (again, including me) and that’s cool, but kudos for going out and shooting to the brief.

I was going to post such a note myself, as it’s annoying that some new or infrequent posters haven’t read the basic ground rules. Thank you for the reminder. If the problem persists, maybe nudge a mod for a highlighted mod note.
I think it will be more fun for me if I “shoot to the brief”, so that’s what I’m going to do. I won’t be winning any of these competitions anyway!
