Shooting to the brief isn’t looking good for me either - we’re having record high temps this this week and I don’t see anything in the extended forecast either. I’ll hold off a bit longer and if it doesn’t look like the weather is going to cooperate, off to the archives it is.
Gosh, that didn’t last long. I ran across something that would work and sent it right in.
I didn’t expect any blizzards here anyway.
Tough decision. I went with something a bit less grandiose, but maybe this would have been a better choice - North rim of the Grand Canyon after 3’ of snow:
Hmmm. Doesn’t show up on my iPhone. I guess it’s a no go.
Huh, it was showing up on my laptop a few hours ago, but now it isn’t.
Ditto.
And gone again from my iPad, where it was originally visible.
Thanks for the feedback; iCloud sharing is clearly a failure. I guess Apple is trying too hard to keep all my info secure.

I’ll see you, and raise you. This was up from the middle of the night when it was 10 degrees colder.
Canada?
I didn’t have any any good photos for the past couple months so I didn’t submit anything. But now the topic is “Cold”. I live in the tropics. How am I supposed to photograph cold?
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
Nothern Maine, near Rangeley. We were skiing at Saddleback. I wish I had taken a screen shot in the middle of the night, it was -35.
I was going to be a smart ass and take a picture of the contents of my fridge.
That’s were I was going, too. I mean, the contest has “broad interpretation”, so if you don’t happen to live someplace where it snows, or where winter has already arrived, what’r you gonna do? Go down to the frozen yogurt place and take a selfie of brain-freeze? Some of us don’t have outdoor cold yet.
Or take a picture of someone being turned down harshly for a date request…
