I know some of you are playing this now. Despite its limitations, I think it is the best thing since sliced bread! I’ve been waiting for this for many years, and now that it’s here, my gaming group is being very slow about getting the game (many have upgrades to do first.)
I’d like to start a dedicated game as DM for you die-hards out there. I’ve written several mods already, including a passable version of the Village of Hommlet part of the Temple of Elemental Evil (I’ll continue work on the next part as well.)

Badtz Maru, I was looking for your previous post in order to find your mod’s name, but when I tried it the SDMB server didn’t respond. I’d like to try it out- thanks for reposting the name.
I’ll try to mail each person that responds here, but I’d like to meet Friday night in the Roleplay area of the game servers. (The GameSpy default.)
I don’t have a dedicated server to use, does anyone have any suggestions? If I had a place I could keep adding fresh content to a persistent world. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah, I’m in. I’ve been searching for a good regular group since I got the game. My old guild broke up about 2 months before it came out, and my usual friends that would play have been cheap bums that haven’t gotten it yet. Whats the time frame we’re looking at? Having a full time, 9-5 job limits me to a couple hours at night(EST), but weekends are more or less wide open.
I’d love to play, but I’m having waaay too much fun making my own module. It’s an Everquest spoof with a dash of absurdity, lightly seasoned with a little Monkey Island. I may never finish it, but it’s certainly fun tinkering with it.
The public server name I use is DMDoug’s Multiverse. The modules I am running are either The Temple of Elemental Evil or Combat Arena.
I will be online next in the Role Play area on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at midnight EST. I will be starting a group game Friday at 8pm EST. I am also available at different times on the weekend both during the day and in the evening/night. Post or email me if you want to join up to work on a character.
I will be running a low-level “character-builder” campaign for those who want to learn how to play the NWN game, and also a high level quest campaign, a hack-and-slash arena for both players and DMs and a Gods Quest type of game. Hopefully, something for everyone.
